Report on Lean Six Sigma Training by KPMG

Lean-six sigma certification training program was conducted for operations specialization students of Batch 2017-19 from 26th to 29th Nov.2018 as a value added program. At the end of the program students were given a test, all those who qualify the exam will be awarded Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate by KPMG.

Students were trained by Mr. Sanket Deshpande, a domain expert from industry in the six sigma consultation. As the students had already went through the lean management and six sigma courses as part of their course work during II and III semesters, it was easy for them build upon their learnings from the practice perspective considering the real life field examples by the trainer. The training of based on the DMAIC approach. The first three days were dedicated for Define, measure, Analyse phases respectively and the fourth day was on Improve and the Control phase of Six Sigma.
