To generate an atmosphere of discipline by sending a clearmessage that no act of ragging shall be tolerated and any act ofragging shall not go unnoticed and unpunished.
EVENT 1 - Vigilance Awareness Week
The Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), observes Vigilance Awareness Week every year during the week in which the birthday of Sardar Patel (31st October) falls. This year it is from 26th October to 01st November, 2021 with the theme: Independent India @75 Self Reliance with Integrity.
The Discipline & Anti-Ragging Committee organized the Vigilance awareness week during Oct 26 to Nov 1, 2021. The following activities were conducted as a part of the awareness week.
Posters were displayed across the campus to spread awareness and campaign about “Complaints under PIDPI (Public Interest Disclosure and Protection of Informers).
A quiz followed by a debate was conducted. The quiz and the debate were having the theme of Corruption.
An integrity pledge ceremony was conducted and students, faculty members, non-teaching staff were requested to take the Integrity e-pledge by going to the link Pledge.
EVENT 2- Hustle-Puzzle
Hustle-Puzzle was organised by Discipline & Anti-Ragging Committee in our flagship event FIRANDE.
It was created in a way to bring out the creative and innovative ideas within a certain span of time and under pressure. The event was followed by three rounds:
ROUND 1: GUESSING THE RIDDLE
6 riddles were provided to each group, all their answers (whatever they answer, correct answers were be disclosed after 10 mins) had to be a one-word answer. A total of 10 mins was given to them for guessing the answers, a google form was shared with the team leader, after which a remainder will be given by the POCs. Only the team leader was asked to fill the form.
ROUND 2: CREATE-O-METRY
After collecting all the words (the answers), they had to use all those words and come up with a creative (poster, article, news headline, video etc). A total of 30 mins was given to them for making the creative.
ROUND 3: PITCH IT
Each team was given a time of 2 minutes to pitch about their creative to their respective POCs.
Outcome: The event was a successful one with a total of 21 teams (42 participants). We had three rounds, Guessing the Puzzle, Create-O-Metry and Pitch It. After going through all the rounds and after calculating all the points and judging the creatives accordingly, the entire team came to a decision for the winners.
