Objectives of the Practice : To promote immersive and experiential learning through guided corporate exposure for students.
Deepening the corporate engagement and promote experiential/immersive learning. Master class, the Corporate Mentoring Program is designed to provide the budding managers valuable guidance beyond the classroom to complement their learning and help them evolve as effective business professionals. Students closely work with senior corporate practitioners in live setting and learn by participating in various projects and fieldworks. The mentor shall share their knowledge, experiences, provide guidance and suggest ways for the mentee to chart a successful corporate journey. This program involves periodic self-assessment by students and feedback by mentors.
Evidence of Success: The entire program was optional; in total 134 students have applied for the program and 29 of them were mapped to eleven corporate mentors as their mentees, and the program was inaugurated on 29th June, 2019. The program with first cohort of 29 students has been successfully completed.

Students should be engaged in completing internal assessments. Use of online platform for gamification of internal evaluations such as Kahoot and Quizzes for continuous internal assessments. All of these are integrated through LMS, covering substantial portion of internal assessment going paperless thus following environmentally sustainable practice as well as greater engagement of students by enhancing their learning and assessment process.
Evidence of Success:Hundreds of reams of paper saved. Assessments become more engaging and entertaining with improvised learning process, with little scope for malpractice.

Curriculum design to align with industry. Apart from functional knowledge, GSTEE framework provides holistic perspective of every functional area by contextualizing the relevance of Governance, Sustainability, Technology, Ethics and Experiential Learning in every course, well aligned with industry expectations, thus making the students better equipped to appreciate decision dilemmas and challenges. This also improves their employability. GSTEE also ensures to bring about consciousness and sensitivity among our students with reference to economy, ecology and environment while they make important decisions as business leaders of tomorrow.
Evidence of Success: The practice was introduced in 2019 and the sample course handout has been provided. The impact of social consciousness is reflected in extensive participation of our students in the Extension and Institute Social Responsibility (ISR) activities.

Facilitating immersive learning opportunity for faculty. Deepening corporate engagement.
SIBM Hyderabad has partnered with CII to identify corporate houses who can participate in the program by accommodating our faculty members. After initial invitation, CII has received expression of interest from several corporate houses to participate in the program. SIBMH coordinated with CII to map areas of interest of the corporates and area of expertise of our faculty members. After the mapping was done, selected faculty members (in our case 2 faculty members Dr. Jagan Mohan Reddy and Dr. Ridhi Rani) were deputed to work with Dr. Reddy’s Lab and M&M respectively for a duration of six weeks. After the completion of the program, the reports were prepared and both the faculty were made to present their study in the presence of representatives from host corporate, CII and SIBMH.
Evidence of Success: Both the faculty have completed the program successfully. It was heartening to note that Dr. Jagan Mohan Reddy was given commendation by Dr. Reddy’s Lab for his high impact work in the area of HRM titled “Work Culture at Dr.Reddy’s”.
