CMIE Report June 2019

The Learning Resource Centre of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Hyderabad (SIBM-H) organized a workshop on Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy Pvt Ltd., (CMIE) Databases on 27th June 2019. The students of Semester I were trained to get hands on experience about the subscribed databases like, Prowess IQ, Economic Outlook and Industry Outlook.

Mr. Janardhan Reddy, K., Vice President, CMIE who was the Resource Person for the workshop explained about how to browse through and extract data from the e-databases.

Training session emphasized the benefits of e-databases and how MBA Graduates can make use of the information available and how to get analysis about the various industries and economies.

The workshop which was highly interactive and participatory saw over 124 students taking part. The training on this resource will help students in their Summer Internship Project’s, Class Assignments and in Research Activities.
