Report on Shramdaan event at Mamidipalli Village

Topic:- Report on Shramdaan event at Mamidipalli Village

As part of a social initiative, ISR and WDC students Club of SIBM visited one the villages in Mamidipalli on 15th August 2018. Chocolates, biscuits and juice were distributed to around 40 children in the village. The children got very excited seeing the team and greeted us with a lot of love and enthusiasm.

Later the team members had an ice breaking session with the children and people there. We chatted with random people and played some random games with them to bond with them. A relay race for the kids was conducted. The relay race helped us to nurture healthy competition among the kids. Furthermore, we had a craft session, where the team taught the kids and the people there to make flowers out of the tissue papers. It was a fun activity and people loved being a part of it. We also had three legged race and the frog race for the kids.

The gifts were given to the kids who won in all the races , in order to motivate them. The Goodbyes were hard cuz the kids weren’t ready to let the team go. This shows the amount of connect and impact that the team had on the people, in such a short span of time.

The visit encouraged to do more for the kids and people who need us. Because for us its just a small effort, but for them it means a lot more.
