Business Statistics is a core paper for MBA Semester I students from SIBM Hyderabad. To provide the guidelines for statistical thinking while Applying Statistical Techniques in research and at different domains in the management course, a workshop on “Design Thinking for First Level Analysis” has been conducted for Semester I students for the batch of 2018-20.

The sessions conducted for full day by Prof. Uday Bhate, a founder of NMORE research company and NGO in the field of helping and promoting high school studies using digital platform.

Topics covered in a workshop:-

• Design thinking
• Analytical thinking
• Statistical thinking
• Understanding and observing the data to explore the information
• Application of hypothesis
• Constructing Cross tabulation
• Conducting Chi square analysis

The students were enthusiastic for full day and had a great learning from the workshop and performed statistical analysis using SPSS and submitted as a report.
