On January 23 & 24, 2020 InkQuisitive and Learning Resource Centre (Booksleuths) at Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Hyderabad organised a “Book Exhibition”, at Multipurpose Hall, SIBM, Hyderabad. This was the first event after the merger of two clubs InkQuisitive and Learning Resource Centre (LRC).
The event saw over 200 students from both 2018-20 and 2019-21 batches of MBA programme as well as students of Symbiosis Law School exploring their interests and cherishing their memories with various books exhibited there. The books were mainly related to academics including all specializations: Finance, Operations, Human Resource and Marketing, along with practical Harvard Business reviews. Apart from this, there were novels, fiction, non-fiction books of famous authors.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. K. P. Venugopala Rao (Deputy Director, SIBM Hyderabad). Other faculty members also accompanied him. In his speech, Dr. Venugopala Rao, appreciated all the members of InkQuisitive and LRC for their combined effort.

Our faculty members Dr. Saradhi Kumar, Gonela, Dr. Tanmoy De and Dr. Rajkumar Pillay were present at the event to extend their support for the club’s work. After the inauguration, there was the narration of excerpts from ‘Best of InkQuilab’ a collection of best articles of InkQuilab a monthly magazine released by the club. One of the club members, Ms. Sharvani Shastri recited her poem from the magazine.

The event witnessed a good turnout of students and faculty members. Faculty members from Symbiosis Law School were also present for the 2-day exhibition. On Day-1, majority of books were related to academics. The timing of exhibition was from 1:30 PM to 5 PM.
On Day-2, some new books arrived which were from the genres of fiction, biographies etc. The timing of the exhibition was from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The students as well as faculty members found the book collection useful and beneficial. Most of the faculty members recommended the same for students.
On both days, students were asked to recommend useful books from the exhibition for the library.
