Symbinar 2.0 Series - Mr. Manu M

As part of the second edition of the live webinar series “SYMBINAR 2.0”, the Corporate Interaction Cell of SIBM Hyderabad hosted Mr. Manu M, Human Resource - Director, Volvo Group India, who addressed the students on the topic, ''Growth Mindset - Perform to Transform''.

At the beginning of the session, Mr. Manu threw light on how he was instrumental in facilitating some key Organizational change activities which include Cultural engagement, Organizational Development, and Implementation of the HR service delivery model. He believes that a performance-driven culture and a continuous learning environment play a key role in an organization’s success.  

Mr. Manu emphasized on the importance of Performance Management of an organization where a team's high-performance level and organizational culture go hand in hand. For the holistic development of an organization, teamwork plays an essential role by continuously honing key skills such as flexibility, adaptability and peer learning. He highlighted the importance of collaboration and its role in achieving better outputs.

He laid stress on the factor of the evolution of ourselves for growth and development, according to the need of the hour. We need to be flexible enough to anticipate future trends and competition prevalent in the market. It is of utmost importance to transform ourselves from a fixed mindset towards a growth-driven mindset by instilling the desire to learn and accepting constructive feedback. One should always be willing to learn new, effective ways of working and continuously evolve for the better. 

This session highlighted the importance of leadership and communication skills for the growth of an individual. We look forward to having such insightful and interactive sessions with him in the coming future and continue this association.
