Objective : AmphiChats aims to bring alumni and students together to connect and interact in a lively setting. The event focuses on building a strong community through open conversations between the students and the alumni. To add fun and excitement, the event includes enjoyable games and activities that encourage active participation and help forge lasting connections among attendees.

Outcome : The first edition of AmphiChats was a vibrant initiative that not only fostered stronger connections between alumni and their alma mater but also facilitated personal and professional growth for both alumni and students alike. Through a diverse array of fun activities, the event sought to cultivate an atmosphere where candid conversations flourished between current students and alumni. Following the event's conclusion, students actively networked with alumni, acquiring priceless insights and knowledge.

The first edition of AmphiChats event marked a unique initiative led by the Alumni Coordination Team of SIBM, Hyderabad.

This exceptional gathering took place at the campus's iconic Amphitheatre, a cherished location deeply rooted in the hearts of both current students and alumni. The Amphitheatre acts as a hub for student camaraderie and helps in nurturing of lasting friendships.

The event began with a welcome address to the audience and panelists by the hosts “Pragalbh Shukla and Sanjana Girhe”. They introduced the alumni and the topic of the discussion and later invited them to share their insights on embracing change in life.

Snigdha Nair, an alumna of SIBM, Hyderabad who is currently working as Deputy Manager-Total Rewards at PepsiCo, shared her story on how she overcame a series of personal and professional challenges to achieve her goals. She emphasized the importance of resilience, perseverance, and a positive attitude in the face of change.

Shahid Hassan Mohammed, an alumnus of SIBM Hyderabad and currently a Manager at PepsiCo, spoke about the importance of being adaptable and flexible in a rapidly changing world. He shared his own experiences of navigating career changes and transitions, and highlighted the importance of being open to new opportunities and challenges.

Vivek Aditya Tangirala, an alumnus of SIBM Hyderabad and currently working as Assistant Manager at GlobalLogic, talked about the importance of taking risks and pursuing one's passions. He shared his own story of starting his own business after a successful career in corporate finance, and encouraged the audience to follow their dreams, even if it means taking the road less travelled.

Pranav Balamurali Krishna, an alumnus of SIBM Hyderabad and currently an Associate, Consulting & Valuation - CBRE, shared his unique perspective on change as a source of inspiration and creativity. He spoke about how he has used his own experiences of change to fuel his passion for storytelling, and encouraged the audience to find their own unique ways to embrace change and make a positive impact on the world.

After the panel discussion, the audience had the opportunity to ask the panelists questions. The panelists shared their insights on a variety of topics, including how to deal with failure, how to stay motivated during difficult times, and how to find one's purpose in life.

The event concluded with a game of Pictionary, where the panelists and audience members competed to guess the words being drawn by the alumni. The game was a fun and engaging way to end the event, and it helped to promote camaraderie and networking among the attendees.
