Vision

To nurture empathy, respect, and responsible care for campus animals through collaborative and inventive means, ensuring their welfare and promoting harmonious living within our community.

Mission

The Animal Welfare Club engages students in college activities for animal well-being, including campus animals. We foster artistic expression, advocate for animal rights, responsible pet ownership, and campus animal welfare through interdisciplinary collaboration.

Objectives

The main objective is to establish a system to evaluate and improve the overall animal welfare standards on campus.
To create designated green spaces on campus for animals to thrive
To encourage responsible pet ownership among students and staff.
Implement a campus-wide vaccination program to ensure the health and well-being of animals and people around them.
To establish collaborations with veterinary institutions to enhance veterinary care for campus animals.

Snap-sthetic

As a part of Firande, a Photography competition named ‘Snap-sthetic’ was conducted which commenced on 24th January and ended on 9th February 2022.

The participants were asked to give in their entries by submitting the photographs on the theme “Colours of Life”. This was followed by storytelling round wherein the participants depicted a story through a set of photographs which was then posted on the official Pratibimb Instagram handle. The results were based on the insights that were received from the photographs.
