Anti-Ragging Week

Anti-Ragging Awareness Week is an essential initiative undertaken by SIBM Hyderabad to address and prevent the concerning issue of ragging in educational institutions. The Anti-Ragging Awareness Week at SIBM Hyderabad is the institution's commitment to maintaining a space where every student feels secure and valued with an aim to educate and create awareness among students about the effects of ragging and the importance of cultivating a safe and respectful campus environment. The week was filled with a variety of events that encouraged active student participation and engagement, fostering a sense of community and mutual respect. This year, launch Anti-Ragging Week '25 from August 12th to August 18th, 2025.

Poster Making Competition:

The Anti-ragging week kicked off with a Poster-Making Competition which was conducted. The competition was open to all students, and participants were tasked with creating posters on the theme of anti-ragging, which could be made using any online tool or could be handcrafted. This competition provided students with an opportunity to showcase their artistic flair and make a powerful statement against ragging. The central theme of the competition was to highlight the harmful effects of ragging and promoted the values of respect and unity among students. The theme was broad enough to allow for a wide range of creative interpretations, encouraging participants to think deeply about the issue and how best to communicate their message. The posters were judged based on creativity, relevance to the theme, visual appeal, and the effectiveness of the message. Originality in the design, the clarity of the message, and the overall impact of the poster was what looked for. Whether the posters were hand-drawn or digitally created, what mattered most was how powerfully they conveyed the anti-ragging message.
