Faculty & Staff GamesThe faculty and non-teaching staff events were conducted over multiple days and witnessed enthusiastic participation. Games such as Tug of War, Lemon and Spoon, and Musical Chairs generated high energy and camaraderie, while Action Ball, Badminton (Doubles), and Tennikoit showcased teamwork, coordination, and strategic play. The events encouraged interaction across departments and created a relaxed yet competitive environment that strengthened workplace bonding.
Student GamesStudent events were equally engaging and competitive. Throwball, Badminton, and Box Cricket saw active participation from multiple teams, with emphasis on inclusivity through mixed-gender team composition. These events set an enthusiastic tone for the week, encouraging teamwork, coordination, and light-hearted competition. Tug of War witnessed strong participation across departments, fostering collective effort and camaraderie, while Lemon and Spoon added an element of fun and balance, engaging participants in a relaxed yet competitive environment. The activities helped break routine boundaries and promoted informal interaction among staff members.
Day 2 - Wednesday, 10th December 2025 Faculty & Staff: Action Ball and Tennikoit | Students: ThrowballThe second day featured a combination of staff and student events. Faculty and staff members actively participated in Action Ball and Tennikoit, both of which required agility, coordination, and strategic thinking. The matches were conducted in a lively atmosphere with participants displaying enthusiasm and sportsmanship. Simultaneously, students competed in Throwball, where multiple teams showcased teamwork, coordination, and competitive spirit. The matches attracted significant student engagement and spectatorship, contributing to a vibrant campus atmosphere.
Day three was dedicated to Badminton, with separate events conducted for faculty & staff and students. The faculty and staff Badminton (Doubles) matches highlighted coordination, quick reflexes, and tactical play, while the student badminton matches were highly competitive and well-contested. The games witnessed consistent rallies and enthusiastic participation, reflecting both skill and sportsmanship. The structured conduct of the matches ensured smooth execution and fair play throughout the day.
The student-centric event Box Cricket was conducted on Saturday and received overwhelming participation and engagement. Teams competed enthusiastically in the five-over format, demonstrating strategic batting, disciplined bowling, and agile fielding. The matches were fast-paced and closely contested, keeping both participants and spectators highly engaged. Box Cricket emerged as one of the most exciting highlights of Foundation Week, reinforcing teamwork, leadership, and competitive resilience among students.
Foundation Week concluded with the classic game of Musical Chairs for faculty and staff members. The event created a cheerful and relaxed environment, allowing participants to unwind and celebrate the successful completion of the week-long festivities. Laughter, enthusiasm, and spirited participation marked the event, bringing the celebrations to a joyful close and reinforcing the sense of community and togetherness on campus.
