Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Hyderabad, in association with the Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX), successfully organized the MCX Certified Commodity Professional (MCCP) Training Program from 2nd to 5th September 2024. The program was aimed at providing in-depth knowledge of the commodity markets, trading strategies, and regulatory frameworks to students, preparing them for professional roles in commodity derivatives markets.

The event began with a welcome address by Dr. KP Venugopal, Director of SIBM-Hyderabad, who emphasized the importance of industry-oriented certification programs like MCCP. Mr. Ashutosh Vasisht and Mr. Saurabh Khanna then set the tone for the program with their introductory remarks, sharing valuable insights into the evolving commodity markets and how this training would benefit students looking to build a career in this field.
40 students from MBA-III semesters actively participated in the program.
The participants were required to pass an assessment test at the end of the training, which was mandatory for certification.
